    National Integrity Framework

    The National Integrity Framework is a set of rules that all members of a sport need to follow when it comes to their behaviour and conduct in sport. Following are resources to help inform athletes and sports about the Framework, as well as resources and guides to assist sports manage matters outside of our statutory functions.

     

    Safeguarding

    Participation in sport should be safe, supportive and friendly for all. The following safeguarding resources have been developed to help athletes at all levels of the sport.

     

    Education

    We want to protect athletes, prevent doping and maintain the integrity of Australian sport. To do this, we need to educate people about the benefits of keeping our sports safe and fair. The following education resources have been developed to help athletes.

    Competition manipulation, match-fixing and sport gambling

    Some people try to dishonestly change the result of a sporting competition, or certain parts of it, for the wrong reasons. Sport should be an honest contest, which follows rules to determine a fair outcome – win, loss or tie.

    Sport Integrity app

    The Sport Integrity app is a ‘one-stop-shop’ resource for athletes to inform and protect themselves in the integrity space.

    The app can, amongst other things, help athletes check medications before using them, find low risk ‘batch-tested’ supplements, report an integrity issue or suspicious activity and check the need for an in-advance Therapeutic Use Exemption.

    Clearinghouse for Sport

    The Clearinghouse for Sport (Clearinghouse) is the information and knowledge sharing platform for Australian sport. It brings together Australia’s leading sport and active recreation agencies, using the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) as the principal information coordination point, to share news, evidence and insights about sport, human performance, and physical activity.
